With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Milton Rivera, who was called home on July 17, 2024. Born on May 7, 1969, in Lima, Honduras, Milton was a beacon of light and an eternal source of joy for all those fortunate enough to have known him. He spent the majority of his life, 50 glorious years, in Downey, California. Milton was a charismatic soul with an infectious smile that could light up any room. His smart, talented, and ambitious nature shone brightly in his professional life as an exceptional salesperson and team leader. His creativity and leadership skills not only led him to great heights professionally, but also made him an inspirational figure for many. His love for the garden was unparalleled. He found solace and peace in nurturing plants, a hobby that reflected his own caring and nurturing nature.
Milton’s love for his mother, Ernestina Salas, was infinite and sweet, a living testament to his boundless capacity for love and affection. He is also survived by his father Domingo Salas and brothers Dennis Rivera and Jaime Salas. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Rivera. In the words of Maya Angelou, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Milton was the embodiment of this sentiment. His charismatic personality, his laughter, his zest for life, and his unwavering support towards his loved ones are what made him unforgettable.
