Jarrett Crooks

Jarrett “Pirate” Crooks, 42 yrs. old, passed away on March 15, 2024. He was born in Rockland, MA and also lived in Abington, MA until moving to Las Vegas, NV in 1998. He loved to fish and bug hunt, while he was at his sister’s soccer games, when he was a young boy and had such a love for animals and had many cats and a husky, Kira throughout his life. He loved going to the Ren Faire in Las Vegas every year. He moved to Goodsprings, NV and the community welcomed him with open arms and he met his best friend & love, Tara. The community said he was very kindhearted and always willing to help everyone with any projects. He is survived by his daughter, Dyvyne Crooks, his parents, Pamela and Stephen Crooks , of Greenwood, SC, his sister, Courtney Crooks, of Warwick,RI and his fiancee, Tara Crooks(Murphy), of Goodsprings, NV. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ma and Papa, Nana and Grampy and great-grandparents, Gigi and Bumpa. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and cousins and his “family” and friends at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, NV. Services were private. In lieu of flowers, consider donating a tree in his memory.
